Sold FS 15" Kove Armageddon Z

Have a used Kove Armageddon Z 15" sub. It is Dual 4 ohm. I bought it not working. I took the dustcap off and realized that the connection where the tinsel leads and the leads from the former meet werent making a good connection. I resoldered them and coated them with CA glue. I then put a used RD Audio dustcap back on. I played it with 100 watts free air and it sounded fine, Should be a great sub for someone out there. This isnt the Treo copy sub. This one has a 3" coil not a 4". Motor is right around the same size as a TC-9 motor with 1" slugs.

i love kove. i cant pull 300 out of my bnib kove armageddon u2 18 no one shows kove love its sad. u still do 75 shipped i may consider adding it to the collection i have the og dust cap sitting here in front of me!

Ya I dont know what Kove was thinking when building this sub. They used metal connectors to connect the former wire to the tinsel leads. Over time they wiggled loose and wernt making good connection anymore. I soldered the heck out of it and coated it with CA glue and Goop. Its a toss up how long it will hold together. Shouldnt be a issue but i never know when it isnt a sub i built

This is a **** good sub and it does get loud! I've ran one on 2krms daily and it handled it just fine. Of course that's with all PSI soft parts and an 8 layer coil but it took it flawlessly. If I had a need for this sub, I'd get it but I already have a pair. Best of luck to you man, whoever get's this will be very happy and very surprised by it's output. GLWS.

Just DMM the coils again and im getting 4.1ohms on one coil and 4.0 on the other.
