Sold FS: 12" Atomic Manhattan D4

12" Atomic Manhattan, Dual 4, 500RMS.

Logo is missing off the dustcap; bought this from cmobley maybe a month ago if that long and have had it in my car on 200wRMS daily. The sub is mechanical sound and has very few imperfections (so little that I haven't noticed any).

Sub arrived today, good aesthetic condition, pulled tsp's to find this

Ugh... now that's either a rebuilt non oem part woofer or a nicely over-baked coil but there is no tell tell smell emanating from it anywhere. Have PM'd requesting ability to send it back at my expense. Sub arrived at 6:30pm today, pulled tsp's straight outta the packing crate after inspection, sub has not been powered except by small signal for TSP evaluation.

End result I'm after, I pay both shipping to and from me and the remainder be mine so that only I am in a worse position monetarily and Brian not be outta anything except the deal we mentioned above. I am aware that he may not have been aware of the subs electromechanical condition, but with it being sold as good working condition I believed I was grabbing a functional sub in near factory spec condition. the High Re shown in the original post where he bought it from would have been enough to clue me in something wasn't quite right, but I failed to look at that thread till today.
