1 12" 2ohm DVC AA Avalanche.... GREAT condition. Comes in a crate and is nicely packed.

The only reason why i'm getting rid of this sub is because it doesn't come in the right VC configuration to get the most potential out of my amp.

I assure you they can take 1500 rms for music daily. There are plenty of people who have ran over twice their rated rms to them with no problem.

that has nothing to do with it.... All the motors are the same. they would all be capable of handling the same power. its the enclosure and power mostly which determines what it will handle

Just because the amps is rated at that power does not mean the drive was receiveing that power. I will tell you my Ava did not like the MD2 at 1ohm for any decent period of time. The coil can not handle 1500w RMS.

Over 800w? Sure...but I wouldnt do mroe than 1000-1200w TRUE rms. And with that I would be careful with the tones.

Are you talking about music? Cause it won't see a contant XXXX amount of watts on music, which is why I say it can handle it for music.

Yes, we are on the same page then. The Avalanches can then handle "1500" watts daily. If you were to burp them constantly at 1500 watts and see how long they last... thats a differen't story.

I see what you're saying, Duke. And no, I would definately not give the AV a TRUE 1500wrms (burps for extended periods). But 1000-1500w daily for MUSIC would be fine.

Hell it bumped like crazy on 500w but 1000 would be great.
