Frosted plexiglass?

Anyone on here ever make a false floor and make a frosted plexiglass window with a logo that has neons or leds behind it light it up? that would be so pimp. Any ideas of how i can do this?

it can actually be fairly easy depending on how you want to do the logo(etched, or a vinyl sticker). But to frost the glass just sand the back side of it

Ya you lightly sand the back side.

It does look really good once all done.

i already know how to frost it, but how about fastening it, or wiring up LED's?

a reverse cutout vinyl sticker for logos and a sandblaster is a nice touch

My installer did this with his Toureg... What he did was across the whole back trunk area he made a glowing VW symbol.... He made the cutout design out of a piece of plexi, and then a cutout with a piece of 1/4" MDF..... Sanded and shaped the top piece, then spray painted it black with a nice shiny coat on top....put the plexi in the back...but DID NOT cut out the VW symbol (which appeared to be between the 2 back seats right between the 2 headrests) and that is where he had the LED's...in the back of the plexi...so when you looked at it from the back of the car...you saw the black piece on top, then the lighted plexi behind it...its was pretty cool.
