Ok, Just for fun i'm going to put my 7515 mtx 04 in my car today. ill be using a rockford fosgate p1000-1bd. its benched at about 500 @ 4.

my question is this, I was running two tc-7's @ 1 doing 1300wrms. My lights dim bad with it 20+ on alpine hu.

So, my question is this..

If im only pulling 500wrms, but at a higher impedance, will my lights still dim? its not as many watts, but its harder to get the watts due to the 4ohms.

will be be harder or easier on my eletrical?

your lights may dim a little, but not much if at all. i wouldn't say it's "harder" to make power at 4 Ohms...i think it's harder on the amp to make power at lower impedance, because it requires more current.

4 is more efficient in general...should be quite a bit of a difference just going from 1300 to 500 anyway.

Yeah, if you haven't bought em yet, then get a matching third sub. I would wire them to 1.3ohm, unless for some reason, you have some really...

Thank you for all your help and I'll let you know how it all turns out. I'm putting it n a kia optima. I hope that it sounds as good as i think it...
