I got a 1996 honda civic hatch back that i want to put a nice system in and need help im going to put in Alpine Type-X subs in and then the Alpine MRD-M1005 V12 Digital Mono Amplifier so i want 3 subs and going to need 3 amps. I got all that down thats what i want but i dont think my car can power all that. so what would help me power that i need name of stuff and price if you can do that for me and the civic is stock thanks mike

u will need a yellow top battery to power that most likely, its a deep cycles battery made for high power audio systems. If you need a box made, spkrman is who i work for he makes DANG good boxes just hit me up with a pm

I hope you got a good budget. Gonna cost you to install all that. Your car could power with big 3, red top, and HO alternator. Good luck.

red top vs. yellow top under the hood. I have heard both ways. Many use the yellow top as an extra battery if you go that route.

Anyways, you will need more than just a deep cycle battery to power three of those amps. And deep cycles are not made solely for audio systems...

I would get at least a 250a altenator, try http://www.excessiveamperage.com for a price quote.

The big three will help greatly, especially with the HO alt. Start there, the deep cycle might not be completely needed.
