friends subs get stolen but are now on craigs.. what to do?

broken bones heel... cut his arm off and set it on fire so he cant get it reattached. i wud ask if i cud swing by to check out the subs then while im lookn at them, have the friend pull up w/ his jeep to see if the guy reacts. if he duz, he's the guy. Also I keep my serial numbers on everything I own on a piece of paper hidden in my room AND I carve my initials into areas that isnt in plain view. This way if something gets stolen...I got a way to prove ownership.

this is why i run one of a kind subs, and a rare amp. i would know for a fact if someone stole my shit and tried to resell on craigslist

this is why you buy an alarm system and tint your windows and take precaution on where you "bump" your system...but then again i wouldnt expect college kids looking to show off for the new freshman class to know about that.

I had my JBL's attempted to be stolen, heres what did, they were made into a custom box that took up the rear seat witch was modified, so i soldered a wire to the voice coil wire, about 6 inches of slack, and secured it to the back of the box, when they tied to steal my speakers, they ripped big holes in them trying to take them out and left them, good news- they got nothing, bad news- i had to get new speakers.

i see what your saying, i would always think if the theif can't get it, i think in his anger he might just break your stuff, speakers are fragile

my buddy went to his house and checked the stuff out. oddly, the ones he had pictured were indeed 10s, based on the spider size and stuff, but he had friggin 12s at his house as well as 10s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif . my friend couldnt do anything at his house without backup so he just said that he would come back with his friend for some financial assistance or something like that.

then my buddy went to the lobby of the complex that the covered parking belonged to and the receptionists stuff got jacked as well as 4 other peoples stuff on the same night, meaning that they had a vehicle to transport and most likely more than just 1 person. they slim jim'd the doors because there were no other signs of break in. they have video surveilance of the garage 24/7 so they will be going over film and stuff to see if they can get a vehicle or something. the detective is pretty deticated to the search as well, which surprised me. i guess since 6 people got jacked, it makes it more of a priority.

so the guy had type r 12's also and ur friend didnt even look at them? i mean having a few sets of subs doesnt say much here..75% of members here have a sub or 2 laying around not being used...like last month i had 7tens not being used...

no he had looked at that set as well because the guy said something like, "and if youre into 12s, i have some of the type Rs in a 12 as well." the guy had just cleaned them up and the only thing that was the same from mine to those were the scratches i put on the back plate. theres a chance that they were mine but i know thousands of people have put scratches on their ish so i cant really acuse him based on that. thats why im going back with him next time. if we get the guys face on cam or something, bingo.
