Well Im helping a friend out since his door speakers cut out. Turns out his amp in protect, from what I dont know, but Im working on that. I thought it might be voltage even though his other amp is on and look what I see. Thats not the problem though, but it cant be helping.

Fixed it with a nice paste of baking soda + water. Put in a bowl 2-3 spoons of baking soda, then add water in small amounts to make a nice thick mixture.

No, the amp wont come out of protect. Im sure its helping with voltage drop though since I cleaned it up.

wow. i've seen batteries years old, that were never cleaned up, that didn't look like that. he should think about popping the hood now and then. i've never understood people who don't pay attention to the well being of their vehicle. the second most important investment next to your home that you'll ever make and something like that goes unnoticed. i'm not trying to talk down on your buddy. some people deserve what they get when it comes to their vehicle. i'd go ahead and check out the rest of his vehicle and make sure the oil isn't 2 years old, among other things.
