Im from California, and I think saying you want some slap in your ride sounds stupid too. But everyone has a right to talk how they want. I call it 'bump' sometimes, Im confident some people also find that term annoying.

I don't like "slap" because it reminds me of the noise a blown flappy woofer would make. "Bang" and "Bump" are better IMHO.
