aight heres the deal... i have everything set and ready to be installed in my car but.. i have two choices on how to do it.... should i spend the cash and go to some audio dealer and have them do it or let my friend's older brother install my stuff for me for cheap cheap.... he has installed the system that he has in his car and he installed his little brothers system.. they both sound fine to me.. what would u do?

Friend. If he knows what he's doing maybe he could explain to you how you install stuff so you can learn and know in the future. You really should give it a try on your own but having someone to show you what to do might be easier.

Umm...I don't trust 99% of the shops out there with my car. A lot of 'em simply cut corners when it comes to installs.

My advice: do it yourself or OVERSEE your friend's brother do it.

Oh man...I've lost count how many people have come in with butchered systems that are pure nightmares that their 'boy' did for them.
what if i have heard the systems of installs that he has already done and they sound nice?

They may sound fine...but how well is the install is the question?

If you feel confident enough, then have him do it.

But you saving some money now may lead to you spending a lot more to fix someone's mistakes down the road...

I see it all the time.
