Friend Needs Help With Subs

My friend is a newb when it comes to car audio but i give him tips because he tries to find good stuff. So i told him id ask the experts for some help. Here I am.

He is looking for subs for a truck he is determined to buy this summer. The only problem he has is that he wants to buy a sub or possibly 2 subs from BB. The only reason is that he got like $175 in gift cards for there. Now he is goin to buy a single cab truck and is really interested in 10's or 12's. He understands that he will be very limited with space but he wants to have a nice thump for kinda cheap and small space. So any input is gonna be helpful but understand that he will buy a sub from BB, soo plz only stick to the brands you can find from there.

yeah best buy sells alpine if he wants 2 subs for that cheap pioneer is actually pretty good just not many people buy there subs. but i mean best buy should have like there own test room so check out there stuff

ya a type r or a kicker compvr, if bb carries them im not sure.

just looking at there web site.. This is what I'd pick. This isn't another type "R" plug, just from what they have, thats what I'd choose for that price.
