Friend needs amp - details inside

Alrite, the situation is as follows: my friend wants a 4 channel amplifier for under $250. The application it is going to be used for is to power a set of infinity kappa components on the front channels, and a single 10" kicker comp vr on the back burner. The budget is slightly negotiable, however cheaper is better. The output needs to be clean, and roughly 60wrms/channel @ 4 ohms sounds good.

hasnt bought the comp VR yet, since we're trying to find an amp first, then going to match the coil config to the amp. Decided on the comp VR since it was inexpensive and by all accounts is excellent for the price.

I was thinking dual 2 ohm though, since most multi channel amps bridge to 4...

and if he decided to get a seperate subwoofer amp later, it could yield a 1 ohm load.

Go check out the specs on this amp. The prices are right and they sound great!

On top of that they are very reliable. I sell these where I work and we have NO problems whatsoever. Our customers can't belive they are getting such a great amp for the cost. We are very happy with them.

I think this amp sells (retails) for $249.95. You should be able to find a dealer that will sell it to you for $215-$225 without a problem.

it'll do about 125 or 130 per channel. so just turn the front gains down a bit and you can underpower the sub by about 30-50 watts.
