Holy crap. So they busted out his driver side window and made off with the custom box i made for him, 2 hype-r 12s, and ...................sigh..............an MRD-M1005......****. Guess they didnt know that he had comps and an amp under the seat thank god. Took his head unit though. Must not have known too much about car audio or they might have asked themselves where those other RCAs went... Well long story short. Time to pick out a new system. He loves the sound of my type-x but i want to go in a diffrent direction for him. Single sub setup. Been scratching my head about it. PSG12D? Something from FI or ID? I dunno. Feel so bad for the guy. Little help on some single SQ sub setups? Amps as well.

Dude.......i DO feel bad for the guy......and so should you, i would think this alone would guilt people into spilling every possible recommendation for the setup. This forum has ****ing changed man. LOL. Moving on. Well i would say anything from 400w - 1000w. Mono or two bridgeable. I figure might be best to pick the sub first and buy an amp around that. I want this thing to knock, and let you know this isnt some BS Xplod back there or something, but he loves how clear and precise the X sounds. Box size can be from 1-2.5 cubes. So i mean run with it. Im trying not to break the bank on this one. I would like to spend around $600 for the amp and sub.
