And I smoked for about 2 years. Got really heavy on the cigs toward the very end too. Half to a full pack a day. Decided I wanted to quit one day because it was costing me so much money...so I did. Nothing else to it.

For some people it's harder, others easier.. Depends on the person

Actually I am saying that the only reason people overheat on X to the point of death is because they are more active. X does affect the body's ability to regulate its temperature, but thats okay if your body is hydrated enough to sweat and stay cool. Unless you are EXTREMELY out of shape, you aren't gonna sweat yourself to the point of dehydration by sitting on the couch and popping E pills. This overheating actually CAN be countered in all instances by drinking water, and it doesn't take much to get the job done. There are actually a lot of cases where people on E drink TOO MUCH water and die from water intoxication because of the myth that drinking a LOT of water on E will keep you safe.
I'm sure there are some minute cases where E will causes other problems such as cardiac arrest, but you could say the same about Viagra.

Its hard to accept your statement that the ONLY reason people dehydrate on X is because of increased activity. As you recognize, X decreases the body's ability to regulate its temperature. Now if you are saying that the latter factor would not be sufficient in and of itself to cause overheating that may very well be true.

It really does not matter how you characterize the causation issue since both factors result from the use of the same drug. Your hypothetical about sitting sedate on a couch is interesting but has little bearing on what typically occurs when people consume the drug. Most users of the drug have a string urge to move around a bit.

And you are right that users trying to prevent dehydration can unwittingly consume too much water causing some very serious complications. That's a little scary considering the fact that they are probably not exercising the best judgment at the time.

I am sure that another problem would be the reluctance of the user (and his friends) to seek medical treatment.

i'm not going to argue about something none of us know about. but i'm a catholic, but i have my own views on life as well. i've gone through the ropes and know mostly all i need to knw about the cchurch, but when it really comes down to it, it's you who puts the cig/weed,meth what have u, to your mouth and smoke it. god is a prescence, not abeing. only you can decide what you do and don't do
