Your either missing something or you've got the wrong conception on some things..

Actually it's not hard at all if you get saved and let the Lord control your life..All of the desires to do anything like that just goes away.

yeah cuz i used to smoke cigs back when i was 12 since my dad was a heavy smoker and i'd steal some of his and then i decided to quit cold turkey and prayed one night and the next day i had no desire to smoke, it was weird.

But you never know what the Lord will do. Just like hardrockfan said.. He didn't know that he wasn't going to have a desire to smoke the next day.. And obviously he wasn't just praying to hiself..

Thats how I felt when I stopped meth.. Even when I see it or hear about it, or people call me wanting some, it's not a temptation..

And I smoked for about 2 years. Got really heavy on the cigs toward the very end too. Half to a full pack a day. Decided I wanted to quit one day because it was costing me so much money...so I did. Nothing else to it.
