Fried voice coil?

2 ways you can have that sub wired safely: 1 ohm or 4 ohms.
How did you have the two wired together?

Never knew about those handy diagrams until today. Would have been nice to have. I wired them based out of the manual that came with the amp but it looks like I may have misread it.

Yeah...you had the amp wired to 1 ohm, and it's not 1 ohm stable.
