fried amp?

my friend has a sony, yes i know its weak but thats all he could afford so its good enough for him. heres the amp

so we hooked up 2 mtx6000's to it and it sounded good in the fiberglass box i just made for him, then he hooked up 2 more DUAL subs and it was ok, then he turned it up a little then the amp just stopped. i tested the power wire=13.7 volts, fuses are fine, amp turns on, but when i tested the speaker outs 0.00 comes out. is this thing shot?

Well, 4 speakers that I imagine yall wird in parallel, I also imagine they are all four svc 4ohmers, so 1ohm bumping on that amp probably did melt some internals.

ah yes, the smell was strong of burnt electronics, hmm warranty...

Well, maybe warranty, but they will prolly look at it and go, damn i bet they had this hooked up at under rated ohmage..... Worth a shot i guess....

yup got the warranty from sony, so im gonna send it in and get an exchange, since they dont do "repairs" on it, just exchange for this years model the rep i talked to said go ahead and it'll be fine.
