was under the impression they did better with more power than i have like 1.5k.. the fu 750 really would be impressive with 400 more rms. was debating when sq has sale getting the 3 and maybe later new 1250 if they test well and i'd have entire sq system (have the door speakers)

They can take a lot of power but they have decent efficiency so they will still boogie on your level of power.

The thing is that even if you get that Icon, the recone from Fi would take a minimum of 3 weeks. More than likely around the one month or 45 day area.

I have an HDC3 im about to recone to D2. You can use that thing for as long as you want honestly. I don't have use for it.

thanks on all of that man.. i not gonna recone something unless it's 1/2 price of a new ($179) sub (even if i could do it myself) still really nice of him to offer the icon (i sure couldn't get anything like that new).. on the hdc, are u saying u gonna recone it and loan it to me? even if thats what u mean i don't think i could power that.. thanks man be awesome if i could do a recone.. if i hadn't had to reglue mine i'd consider redoing mine but that epoxy would be a job to get all that off i used tons..

idk if it'll do any better on 1100rms as my fu does on 900 but i'll sure as he*l try it man.. diff gotta give it a shot.. only sub i ever "blew" was autotek 10" 20 yrs ago before i understood ports, i checked box much later.., it was tuned at like 60hz, ss on amp went to 25..

Felpro released new gaskets for all pre 1999 vehicles and dexcool has been updated to fix dissolving issues both since 2003..

Would of taken me 45minutes or atleast till i am shitfaced lmao

Nothing a angle grinder or dremel can’t solve.

If you do order it, I’ll recone it for you but also order glue if you can.

I didn’t even think about this but where about are in NC? You can PM it but If you’re in the western part I’ll have to do it on the drive back. That would be a bit of hike

yeah he works on cars.. and great at replacing brakes and belts etc.. but he has 7 million tools in 500 tool boxes and takes him 2 days to find the socket or whatever he needs.. not a neat orderly guy..
