Orion HCCA 10" DVC is a very nice free air sub. So long as the baffle for mounting is solid as it is very heavy.

An MDF baffle should be fine to mount one

So MDF baffle covered with some fiberglass will do fine?

Depending on how you mount it you may or may not even need the fiberglass

This is how I want to make the setup, I have the sub held by 2"-3" of MDF extendeing from the outer ring of the sub, then I have stilts holding the sub off the surface.
