Four Sundown Sa 8's doing some work

System is nothing crazy but i am pretty happy with the output i get out of these four mean 8's! Im running 4 Sa 8's dual 2's, two Lanzar HTG 2600d amps strapped at about 1.6 ohms, PWK Designed enclosure tuned to 34 hz and one stinger spv70 in the corner. I know everyone hates cheaper lanzar amps but the one amp is almost 6 years old and going strong and its nice to be able to abuse them and not wanna cry if something happens to one of them.

Video i did real quick the other day going to try to get a better one later with some low tones to see what these sobs can really do!

I believe they are .65 cubes per sub, and yes they definitely are capable of more got the setup off from a friend who had them in an escort and they flexed that car quite a bit. Not sure if its the difference in cars or what..... am interested to see what i meter at because i had a single 12" nightshade doing a 144.9 and i think these bad boys might beat that.... would beat it for sure if i tuned it higher and set it up more for burps. Would also like to get a little more electrical backing them and maybe a bigger amp. Would also like to try an aero port setup and see how that sounded but what it really comes down to is............ i hate trunk cars hahaha

Couple more pics of the inside...problem with getting a box designed for another car lol had to do a little customizing of the deck of my car so the subs would slide in with them in the box because i couldnt screw them down if i dropped them in first

hahaha just bought one actually, i just dont think i know how to use it it is actually a nice $300 one and has way too many features for me to know what im doing right now lol heres a vid of the subs moving but i gotta tell you i cant get much more flex outta my car, like i said im pretty sure iam doing higher numbers than my buddy who had this in his car but his car flexed like crazy, gunna have to mess around with it and see what i can do. I think my car might have flexed more with my 12 or 15 nightshade in it with the ports facing back but the 8's destroy the inside of my car and i think will meter better than anything else ive had in there.

those amps are doing no justice to those subs at all they begging you for power.

I have a HTG2600d and its served me well the last 4 years. Its a solid 1200 watt rms amp. My only complaints are a kind of loud fan and a turn on pop if I have radio on and then start the car.

I Love those amps for the money i paid for them i cant complain, they have 4 30 amp fuses, id like to test one to see what they actually put out, im just happy they are both playing at .8 ohms with no problem lol. The fan thing is definitely true..... specially on the one thats 6 years old...if i turn my volume off you can clearly hear it running all the way up front! I am going to get a beefy amp i just have to decide what. I actually have a lanzar opti 2000 thats blown that i need to get repaired and that thing is a straight beast. I will prolly not upgrade my amps until i see when jacob is supposed to have the new 8's out..... i am definitely gunna try those bad boys out and i gotta say i have not been disappointed by anything sundown has came out with!
