four 8s vs two 15s .....

Does the cone area play the standard role being that the actual comparison is from the complete opposite end of the scale. In theory I will get 2 more inches of cone area with four 8s over two 15s but where does the output come in. I have 2 obsidian 15s and am thinking of doing 4 sundown e8v3s. What are some of your thoughts on this and has anyone had any first hand experience as I have never ran any 8s. I have a jetta so i have a fair amount of space . Thanks guys

I think the big question is, what do you want to do ? I think 4 8's would be cool. But guess it all depends on what you are looking to get out of the system.

Sorry I was thinking 8 times 4 Equals 32. Just wanted something different but I haven't even touched my oa's to power yet so I don't even know what they sound like. There brand new. But thinkin about selling the car and doing something in the truck which with the 8s I can use them in either . Idk just a thought just worried about the output and not wanting to have all these subs and no output.
