Found o2 3000D

I've found this amp for a very good price but had a quick question.. I will be running it at 2ohm pushing 1800wrms. I will be pushing 2 15" at 650rms a piece.. Could i keep it turned down and be alright or should i not mess with such a big amp?
first, what subs? second as long as you keep the volume it low enough, there wont be problems (you wont hit very hard though...), third, what amp alternator do you have?

also if you are going to do such a big system, do a big 3, with a yellowtop or another battery. Also for 1800 watts, i would suggest getting a high output alternator.

now heres the thing, theres no point in buying a large power amp if you don't have the means to power it... it will **** up more juice, be heavier and cost more. And as soon as you reach the threshold of your electrical, (worst case scenerio) the distortion will kill your subs and the battery and alternator may die on you.... so if you do not have an alternator that's at least 120 amps, i would suggest something smaller...

i wouldnt bother with it....your probably going to get 1200 the most out of it

i've see that amp push to kicker comp vr 10's and 2 jl10w3v1's and it could not push them to the limit

i would look else where for a amp

80

dont think you will have a problem producing less than rated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

well dispite other peoples view of the o2 3000D amp, i have to give it a decent review, i had 2 kicker cvr 15's in a 19.5 cf box ported and with 8ga power wire and 16 ga speaker wire i was still able to achive 148 db on the termlab doing a 51hz burp

. then i had 2 o2 audio 3000D's hooked up to my 12 funkin audio sx 10's and i did a steady 150.4 db ....so i would have to say if you want your subs to get loud and do it cheaply go with the o2's but like the first person said make sure your elec. system can handle the power consumption. the amps are 150 amp rated un fused
