Fosgate 3SIXTY.2 ????

Hey guys. It's been a LONG TIME since I've been messin around with car audio. I was HOOKED in high school, but since then have only driven drag cars on the street, so my need for a stereo was non existent. I've gotten away from Hot Rods, and picked up an X-type Jaguar. Being I have a quite car for the first time in about a decade, I guess it's time to put a decent stereo in there again. My problem is the factory head unit. It's a half DIN CD player that cant be replaced without removing the majority of the stock console, and having a custom made bezel. I think I'll pass, and just go with the stock CD player. I'm picky about sound, but "decent" will cut it this time.

So I was thinking about using a 3SIXTY.2. I have some old Quarts and a JL that I've been hanging on to for years now, so I'll just use those. I have a pair of old QM series 6 1/2" MB Quart components for the front, and some QM series 6 1/2" coaxials for the back. For lows, I have one old school JL 12W6. The amps are some cheapies that I picked up at a pawn shop recently. For the JL, I picked up a PPI PCX 2125. For the two sets of Quarts, I picked up an old Sony Mobile ES 4 channel amp, the XM-3046.

Supposedly, the 3SIXTY.2 will convert the speaker level outs on the factory HU to some decent pre amp level signals. Plus it has EQ, crossovers, and a delay feature.

What do you guys think?
