sory for the ignorance, but could you please explane in detail what this does and how it does it? or post a link to the manufacture so I can look it up.

this raises your idle voltage from 14.4 to 15.3 ish.

it doesnt say that much honestly, is yours a ford, chevy or pro series? does it rise the voltage to the whole car? or to a second set of batteries? does the voltage stay at 15.3, who is this better than a adjustable voltage regulator? I really am sorry for all the questions
