4/0 is huge and not very flexable

oh i thought the 1/0 was huge, When i opened the box i was like omg that is some big as wire, Seriously like an inch around and i was surprised how flexible it was! But still, Im gonna try to get some small pliers in there later, and try to crack those stupid ends enough that i can get a 0g terminal around it. I figure once i get those off i should have a better angle at the bolt, and ill get some vice grips and move some stuff out of the way and i should be able to get the old bolt off and get the new bolt on. *Crosses fingers*

yea 4/0 is like a beating stick. its heavy as hell

haha. Jw, your escort should be something like my car internally, Both ford, my car replaced yours basically. How did you run 1/0 to the trunk? Under the car or did you have a place under the carpet. If it was easy i would run it. But if not im sure my 4g would be fine..

i have 4/0 under the carpet. VERY hard to do but i found a way. i just ran it on the passenger side and it comes out of under the back seat. mines built for spl so its NOT meant to be very clean but here it is lol

Im thinking i could fold the carpet back far enough to maybe find some kind of crevise in the metal, But to do that i need to break the clips that hold the carpet to the beauty panels going up the side of the car. It makes the carpet kind of loose and it seems like every time i pull up the panels i break another clip. Just broke one yesterday, and i have 1 broken on the side and another broken on my back driver side door. It doesn't make a difference really, but i hate breaking stuff. Think there is a place that i can order them. I would need to know exactly what they are called though.

i just used 2 small silver self tapping screws to screw down my panel cuz i broke ALL my clips within a year. lol it dont look bad at all either.

Guess my only option is to go ahead and try my hardest to break those clips on the sides. I'm thinking only breaking 1 would fit the terminal around it then I need to somehow get thAt bolt off. Then somehow get both wires and a washer together and secure it down with the no space I'm already workin with. Sounds like a few hours of fun

Haha ok. Think if I clamp down hard enough on those plastic things they will break for me
