Ford Factory amp

Its not that easy because there is only 1 wiring harness that goes to the back of the factory deck. This controls the radio and digital climate controls. It then goes to the RCU and there are 3 harnesses back there. Need to know what to cut bypass eveerything. Already ran new speaker wires.

The factory amp is located in the driver's side trunk, under the trunk liner. One large black plug includes all speaker outputs. The antenna connection is there also. If you purchase an installation kit for that vehicle, it will include a bypass harness long enough to run from the head unit to the amp, and plug into the speaker output plug. It will also include an antenna extension.

yeah when you replace the radio... you bypass the factory amp... but i assume you are keeping the factory amp and adding an aftermarket amp? unplug the black plug and that is where the speaker wires are...
