ford expedition replacement sub help

The stock "mach audio" sub in the rear of my 99 expedition blew recently.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif I removed the 8"sub and am now wondering if anyone knows what a good replacement sub would be? The box seems very shallow so im not real sure about where to look and what to look for in a replacement. I also am not sure what the wattage is on the stock amp it was hooked up to. $ money wise I cannot afford a new amp at the moment so if anyone could give me any suggestions on a replacement sub that will be compatible with the stock amp and the specs on the amp I would greatly appreciate it. thanks.

look into a tang band subwoofer. I believe you can see them on woofersetc.com
