well zane i have been to ur cite and im impressed with all the programs u offer, but theres so many to choose and i dont know which is good, i hope u can help me, i want to construct a sealed box or ported for 12 inch subs, wut program on ur cite would u recomend me using to make my box, also wut materials could i use and wut do i use for the ports. well get back to me soon thanks .

Go and get WinISD, it's the most simple, and most user friendly out there. When you get your feet further into the muck, head over to http://www.soundillusions.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=2 and get LSPCAD Lite... it's harder to work with, but amazing in it's abilities.

For material, it's generally best to use 3/4" MDF, with heavy bracing internally if you are building a larger design. Ports, you can buy "pnr" aeroports for the flared look, or just regular PVC pipe works wonders.
