I own a Dual 425w amp; Used it for a month. $80.

It made it's power, and that's all I asked it for. I wouldn't have bought it, but it was CEA-2006. The board is shit-ugly, but it's a tough amp; I tried to connect it backwards three or four times, and it survived.

I have the sony xplod 2 channel amp that says 1200W on the front. It has been great to me so far (knock on wood). Pushes my Kenwoods just fine, i should be getting my Type izrrrr next week and we'll see how the amp does bridged.

I bet that half of this is just regurgitation. I have had a XM-6001GXD for five years and most of the time it was neglected, clipped, beat on. It was mostly loaned out to friends but it is still running like the day I got it. I looked at the board the other day ant looks quality to me. Runs at 1 ohm all day long also. I am by no means standing by Sony, but just stating my experience.

You don't know how many times I say that a day... Sad thing is, everyone and their mom has these amps PUSHING these subs!!! Yes, with those amps, they do tend to blow up their own sub... hahaha!!

I have an older Xplod Mobile ES(yes it says Mobile ES on it) 75x4 amp and when i was using it, it was a great amp. Its not a brax or audison by no means, but it got the job done and i never had any problems with it.

One of the problems on the "internets" is ppl like to bash things because everyone else does. Of course those who actually have hands on experience with them are warranted in their opinion.

I had one, worked great. Will be installing it in my mom's car to power her front/rear stage.
