SQ and 6x9 3 way shouldnt belong in the same sentence ....

For my ears the best sounding 6x9's were 2-way 6x9's with a good mid/tweeter. 3-ways always sounded shrill. Great 2-way 6x9's that I have heard were RF Power, Boston Acoustics, Higher end Pioneer, Infinity Kappa.

Had a set of Ecplise 6x9's back in the day in my '99 Grand Cherokee. The SE8495s iirc those were so sweet sounding. Wish I hadn't sold the GC with those installed as they were a really nice clear set with decent mid-bass for a 6x9.
