Thanks man, but it doesn't look like he'll make it. They have him on the respirator now and his lungs are really bad. Her mom is not sure if she wants to take him off it and let him go peacefully or keep him alive to see what's up.

Wow, just wow, I cannot believe that you would have the nerve to ask something like that in a thread like this. You deserve to be on that death bed, not his GF"s dad.

Although I'm not religious, I believe that everything does happen for a reason. I will keep your entire family in my thoughts and hope for the best.

Can you guys just say a prayer for my gf's dad? He just had a stroke the other day and now he's in ICU and they're saying he might have lung cancer also.
I'm not a religious person so I won't pray, because it wouldn't be worth squat since I don't believe in it anyhow.

But he's a good person, and a Catholic also. So perhaps if God is real in some shape or form, maybe he won't let a good person die.

But this basically sucks *** right now and I haven't felt this shitty since I found out my mom got cancer, but at least hers is gone now. My gf's dad on the other hand is comatose and laying on what basically could be his deathbed. This really does ****ing sucks, i'm gonna go now before I start crying thinking about this bullshit.

Btw, thanks for anyone who's willing to say a prayer for me. I appreciate it.

Thanks for everything guys. The results came in today and he does have cancer. However, one of the doctor suggested some kind of new medicine. It's experimental, so we'll just try it and wish for the best.

My papa just died of cancer and they were going to try the experimental stuff on him as well... The cancer spread to quick and it was to much when he got there and they sent him back... Sucked..

Hope everything goes well...

I dont understand how you think god can help people with the outcome but he cant heal people? He dropped them dead way back when, what makes you think he cant bring them up?

Anyhow, he's doing a bit better and will be coming home tomorrow. The doctor gives him 2 weeks though. But then again, the doctor also gave him a week before. All we can do now is hope that he stays alive, and about as long as he can. If he dies then we'll just let it be.
