Can you guys just say a prayer for my gf's dad? He just had a stroke the other day and now he's in ICU and they're saying he might have lung cancer also.

I'm not a religious person so I won't pray, because it wouldn't be worth squat since I don't believe in it anyhow.

But he's a good person, and a Catholic also. So perhaps if God is real in some shape or form, maybe he won't let a good person die.

But this basically sucks *** right now and I haven't felt this shitty since I found out my mom got cancer, but at least hers is gone now. My gf's dad on the other hand is comatose and laying on what basically could be his deathbed. This really does ****ing sucks, i'm gonna go now before I start crying thinking about this bullshit.

Btw, thanks for anyone who's willing to say a prayer for me. I appreciate it.

will you guys actually go pray for this persons loved one? or is it just something you say to comfort them?

i know when i was younger, and my aunt got in a really bad accident, my mom came and told me to pray for her, and i did.

i just can't picture myself getting ready to go to bed and being like "oh yeah, i have to say a prayer for that kid from ca.com"

it's really just an honest question, i'm not trying to start shit.

Tonight I will say 'Dear lord please watch over Dragnix's GF's dad and wish him the best speedy recovery possible and help the family to best cope with whatever the end outcome of his diagnosis is'

I would not say 'Dead Lord please heal Dragnix's GF dad and make him better' because I honestly do not believe in god 'healing' people but more of helping people to better cope with tragity, sickness etc.
