thank you all, i really appreaciate you guys. I myself am not a religious person but they all are and I just thought that perhaps God won't let him die. But things seems grim though, they just did the biopsy today, we wont' get results until a couple of days from now. But if he does have cancer, then it's likely onto stage 4. So I suppose a bit of hope is better than none.

Once again, I really appreciate all of you who said a prayer for her dad.

Well, looks like tomorrow will be the day to see if he has cancer or not, the result to the biopsy will come back. At least he's up and talking now, so everyone is hopeful, thanks for the prayers everyone.

Things will get better but the road will be rough. MY dad had a stroke about 15 years ago and I still rember how it feels to find that sort of thing out.

thanks man, it definitely will be rough. But he seems to be doing better, we're just waiting for the biopsy to come back. Which will be soon.

said my prayers for you man, but also thing about this, this may be a test from god to get you to believe, if he see's a man who did not believe before and is now willing to trust in god and his miracles and make a believer out of you..it will go much better with the man up stairs..if you do decide he is a prayer i read everyday and sometimes more then once a day on those really bad days..

Thanks for everything guys. The results came in today and he does have cancer. However, one of the doctor suggested some kind of new medicine. It's experimental, so we'll just try it and wish for the best.

he does feel better, I just hope he stays that way though. Being in the last stage of cancer is just a bad bad thing.

Unrelated story, but there's a man who also stays in the ICU, I'm not sure how old he is, but he does have a lot of relatives come and visit. As i was leaving the hospital today, I saw all his relatives start leaving the ICU in tears. I was so stunned and scared at the same time. I keep hearing a beeping noise coming from that room also. Scares me to death

Man I feel your pain. I don't believe in religion either BUT when I see my friends or family hurting I cannot help but feel bad for them and hope for the best. I believe in higher morals but not necessarily in a story about some man who did all this crazy stuff. One of my good friends throughout highschool.. his mom is about to die from lung cancer and she has never smoked in her life. She did work in a family owned restaurant/bar for most of her life and second hand smoke is the likely cause.

yea i feel ya. I'm not a religious person at all, but they are. And i'm asking this as it is not for me, but for them. So i'm not really changing my belief, but it is a way for my gf and her family to find comfort. Which is what they really need right now.
