what would you recomend for backing up everything on my hardrive? something like norton ghost, but doesnt cost me anything and has an easy to use interface?

NEVER install the actual symantic Ghost program.

why?

most versions of Norton Ghost, the install version, mask the hard drive. If anything were to happen and you can no longer boot the pc, you can ONLY use another pc that has norton ghost installed on it. It's a real pita when you're trying to fix a computer that has it.

i've installed it before, didnt like it so i uninstalled it. that shouldnt be a problem should it?
