I currently have 2 cvx 12's in 4.5@33hz.....gets loud enough for me. Powered by a Mb Quart pab1200.1 which is 1200x1@1ohm. Anyways, I would like to have more room in the back of my Suburban for road trips and all that i take with my family. Anyone have any experience with cvx's sealed? And if so what size box should I biuld for them. Im going to keep my ported enclosure, just would like the option to switch it up whenever i feel like it. Also,if i go sealed, will me being a lil short on power with about 300 watts make that big of a difference?

cvx's are really awesome subs, ported it my have a similar flat response, its been so long ago since we did the test, I just rememberd that it sounded awesome both sealed and ported and had a very flat response

im seriously thinkin about a 15 in cvx ported, this thread is right on time.good luck goin sealed.
I actually had a cvx 15" in 3.5@35hz. I liked it,it did go deep, but i prefer the 12's over the one 15". The 12's just makes my eyelashes move and vibrates the inside of your ear. This was also in my suburban. The 15" was port/sub facing back. The 12's are subs up/port facing back, which i think sounds better in my vehicle.
