what 10" sub's will do great in a very small ported enclosure? maybe even an 8" sub. looking to go with as small of an enclosure as possible. i want good output but in a small box. im leaning more in the direction of sq this time. it will be going in my mazda millenia so im not gonna have it rattle apart and have to listen to rattles for the rest of my life lol. no spl sub's but maybe something with good sq and spl will fit my ideal purpose for this system

I've not personally heard it yet, so I cannot vouche for its sq tendencies, but the tc10oem takes a .7 cf sealed box. Thats pretty tiny....using one of their passive radiators with it does not increase the box size too much if I recall correctly. Just got mine in today, one beefy as hell sub. Stiff as a mofo too.

i have tried out many small box subs. i would say the 8w7 ported in a small ported box would work well for you. not much power needed, and it has pretty good output.

Ran 2 assassin 8's in the GF's car for a while in 1.2^3 @40Hz and SQ was very good with decent output. Had to deaden her car as they hit pretty low and rattled stuff. Very nice little subs IMO...

i am currently in the same spot. i have 6 RE8's that i have from my last ride, but for business reasons ( smaller car ) i am looking to do the same thing. the RE8 is almost as good as a W7 8, but alot less. i am running a single 8 with 250RMS Ported at 33HZ in a .66 cu ft box right now and for a single 8 it's pretty killer. i am still not happy with the port though, so i am trying to come up with a box that uses a 4" port. hard to do since the box requirements are .5 cu ft-- the port will be using all the space and i am having a hard time coming up with a box that will fit the interior nicely and accomodate the sub and port.

I just installed my JL Audio 10w6v2 in a .625 cube sealed box not too long ago, it's running on a 400rms Rockford Fosgate amp. Tuned with the volume at 75-80% it pounds pretty well and sounds awesome in my civic hatch. I defintely think this sub needs a little more power though, also me having a shitty head unit doesn't help. I have a friend with the same car and 2 old Pioneer 12's, our cars are about the same as far as loudness, mine having MUCH better sound quality. When I am listening to rock, it actually sounds like there is sombody in my back seat playing a bass guitar lol, it's very clear sounding bass no mattter what I am playing (rap, rock, country, punk, techno, etc...). I don't see this sub lasting long in my car though, it's exactly what I wanted when I bought the gear last year, but I just want it rediculously loud now.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
