Personally, I'm a bigger NFL fan, the talent in college seems too slow for me. I have watched every OSU game for the past 2 or 3 years I believe. Familly are big fans as my Grandma went to the school and it just stuck in the family.

I like NIU (Northern Illinois University) too because I'm from that area.

Have a few buddies that went to niu and one that played football there. My buddy coaches at Illinois college and his buddy's dad is one of the biggest boosters for the buckeyes. That's how we got our free tickets last season. Tailgated with the coaches families before the game and were parked literally 20 yards from the shoe. I can't stand watching the nfl any more. Too many divas and ***** calls.

I can agree with that, but the Bears were my first football passion outside of playing in the backyard. Plus its much more fun to watch 11 of the best offensive players from college play 11 of the best defensive players from college. You really only have 1 or 2 dominant players on either side of the ball in college that win games. In the NFL it takes much more than one or two players to win games, which I why i tend to like it. Speed and technique is much better in the NFL too.

I just think NFL is more fun to watch, but off the field stuff is probably over reported and over emphasized, IMO. Plenty of diva in college though, how do you think they get in the NFL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

College ball is better to me because they play their best to be able to get to Sunday. Once they go pro, they can get paid even if they sit on the bench. College always seems to have more passion.

LOL, now that the SEC actually has to earn their was to the championship game, I wouldn't bet my mabels on them. Also, Urban Meyer started his career as a OSU TE coach:fyi:

I feel like all the rule changes are taking away from the game. The roughing the passer calls are horrendous. As a defensive player you are limited to two hand touch and soft tackling lol. The college game has yet to be affected by all the rules. I watch the nfl and just get angry at the ludicrous amount of flags thrown. I'm done ranting now lol. Go Bucks!

Who exactly is relivent in the SEC? Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Mississippi State? And they all still had multiple loses. Not a single team went undefeated, or only had 1 loss. Shoot, only Alabama had less than 3 losses... looks real dominant.

Big 10 has OSU, MSU, and Wisconson. So sure, I guess only 3, 4 with the assumption Michigan is actually relevant again. Looks about as "dominant" as the SEC. Sounds like your one of those guys who reads a lot of ESPN and loves the SEC hype. Now that they actually have to earn it instead of being handed the championship game, I don't think they'll be as dominant as the past, and they'll likely have 2 teams competing in every playoff because of the unwarranted SEC love, and they will still lose.

I'm with you there. The rules have kinda softened up the pass rush, sorta. But you can still hit the QB, you just have to have a form tackle and not touch the helmet. Trust me, I've been watch Cutler get creamed for years.

Reason there was all the loses in the sec is because we all beat each other... and sec held the national championship from 06-12...
