It's a matter of definition here. I was called on this in another forum. Many people prefer you tally up the quotes and replies and put them in a single post instead of multiples in a row. This is called double(triple or whatever) posting by many. I have the same habit as you from the way my forum is structured(http://www.acxforum.net). Our software does direct replying without quotes. You directly reply to individuals posts instead of general replies to a "thread". So depending on who you ask you do owe him $10, but I consider double posting to be the same as what you are thinking, which is 2 identical posts caused by some impatient fvcker trying to kick a stuck server by hitting refresh or the reply button 5 million time during a hang.
