Do you have any idea what a financial mess Michigan was in when Engler left?? She inherited a complete financial disaster that can't be fixed in just one term. She has come a long way toward rebuilding Michigan and all everyone wants to do is blame shit on her because she has to make cuts here and there to get Michigan back on it's feet. Not slamming you but you should think about that before you go burning her at the stake. There is a reason she could only raise it to 7.40. Oh and whose to say she wouldn't raise it again in a couple of years.? She has that power.

I think that they should raise minimum wage nationally since they raised the gas prices so much, which makes cost of living go up... just my two cents worth...
Yes, they should. I completely agree. But you have to remember we have a president that favors the corporations interests over the interest of the working man. So to raise the federal minimum wage would mean W going against his corporate interests and therefore be counter producive to his already HUGE bank accounts.
