followup to cvr question

a few days ago i posted about 2 12" cvrs with a hifonics amp that i wasnt sure of... well i kno i said it was 900w at 2 ohms, and now it is 1000w at 2 ohms, i was just wondering if the cvrs will be able to handle this, or if anyone has experience with these two products, the amp is a hifonics bx 1500d 20th aniversary edition... thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

its about a couple hours come up we will show you we put 2000 watts on a durabrand sub from wal mart before we clipped it it held up

ok i got it installed, and it sounds great! I was wonderin if there was anyone who can help me set my controls on the amp, i didn't turn any bass boost on cuz it causes distortion doesn't it?

controls????????? High pass the subs at around 60-80 hz, whatever sounds best to you. Then just follow the gain setting tutorial.

ok thanks, i didn't even check for instructions for gain setting, what is high pass anyway, and what is phase?

When you set the highpass fileter, the amp only allows signals below that setting to reach the speaker. IE, if you set it at 60hz, any signal above 60hz is filtered out.
