Focal ISS 130 vs Hertz ESK 130.5

[CompoSet]

Hi everyone,

I'm new to car audio and I've been looking for a front speaker upgrade for my 2010 Renault Clio for a while now.

The car didn't come with tweeters from the factory, so I'm looking for a component set that can be driven by the stock head unit. I made a selection based on:

-the size (130mm);

-high sensitivity;

-reviews.

I found these two sets:

Which of these sets will be the best choice for this situation? I noticed that the Focal uses an inline crossover just for the tweeter, while the Hertz uses a seperate crossover for both the woofer and the tweeter.

There is no price difference.

The ESK crossover makes it better. But I'd doubt you would hear a difference in the two

Thanks for your help. The price of the CDTs is a little bit steep for me. Would the Audison Prima APK 130 be a good choice?

They are decent as well. The cdts have great crossovers..

Would that make the Hertz set a better choice, given the fact that I don't mind putting some work into installation?

both the tweeter and woofer are a 6db octave slope on the audison.

CDT Audio CL-62.2 I recommend this set over both. IMO more natural better crossover and its a 2ohm set so you can get more power to them! these are EXCELLENT budget driver with much better 24db octave xovers.

they have a component giveaway here as well. they are some great guys and have good stuff. I've yet to ear the stuff but I'm sure ts good stuff and they are n your price range s well..
