The FP's are the nicer amps, but they are expensive as shit, especially if you get them from an authorized dealer.

How much power do you need? I have the FP2.75 powering some 165VR's and love it, but if I needed more power I would problem go with the JL 300/2.

I do have to say, I love my FP's. I've had them for over 1 1/2 years and they have performed great every day since then. I would stick with them if you can. Remember also that Focal built their amps around their own products, besides they are underrated amps I believe. I think they put out plenty of power for what you need.

I had someone from Focal-America tell me on the phone that pretty much all their stuff is under rated. Put it this way, The only reason he didnt suggest to go with the FP 2.150 rather than the 2.75 for the 165VR's is because they are a TINY bit more efficient than the 165V2's they replaced.
