the local hifibuys is closing so everything is 60-80% off and i found these focal access components for $108 brand new. it doesnt come with box/manual though. is it worth it to buy these to replace my stock speakers. obviously anything is better than stock but is there anything better at around this price? they will be run off my eclipse 8443 headunit for now but hopefully amped later on. what are your thoughts? Buy em!!!! Those may be the lowest line of Focal but they are still super good speakers, and at that price!!! Those things retail for $280 i believe, you better get em before someone else does!!!!!!!!

I just got rid of these speakers. I was not impressed with them at all. Midbass was lacking bad. Mids sounded muddy and weak. For that price you cant beat it though. Like you said, anything is better than stock. My discus line of MB quarts sounded better than the Focals, And the MB's can be had for very cheap.

i guess my main question is...how do these compare to speakers such as alpine type-s/r, re re comps, etc. are these the best ill find under $150 or so?
