What ever happened to the pioneer rev series? those seemed to be the best for the buck coaxes but almost no one carries them. What else would compare to them? i see alot of talk on polks, and infinity being decent for the money but nver heard a set...

i just need a decent set of 6.5" coaxes that can take up to 85w for under $100.

theres some REVs

those are some solid coaxils, like i said before though Infinity, Polk, and MB Quart are good too, go out and listen to some of these speakers! Personal Preference is a factor!!!

i was thinking, either i get a pair of good coaxes or a so-so set of comps.

If you can stretch your budget a little, definitely go with some comps. For that price range, I'll recommend, as I always do, the PG RSd65cd from http://www.onlinecarstereo.com (authorized retailer). Will run you $130 shipped.

Amp them and you will have some fairly pounding midbass and smooth highs.

somehow i knew youd chime in with that suggestion. im trying to stay under 100for right now. just need to replace my stock speaks bad. im really concidering snaggin those up but my wallet screams at me when i think about spending more than i should.

Can you save up for another week or two to make up the difference? It would be well, well worth it IMO.
