Focal 165VB or Morel Virtus 602?

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and I signed up to ask you guys what your opinions would be.

I have an 05 altima and I've been looking to replace the front components speakers. I've listened to a lot of different brands and I've narrowed it down to either the Focal 165V30 or the Morel Virtus 602

There is a very small price difference between the two.

So my question is what would you guys go with if given the choice?

I've listened to both, I think I was more impressed with the morels but the installer had the tweeter mounted on top of the mid in the door panel. Since my tweeter will go in the A-Pillar I'm not sure how that will affect the sound that I heard.

The Focals....I heard them on a sound board. I thought they were very well balanced. I'm just a tad bit afraid of the tweeters being a bit harsh. They weren't harsh on the board but again once in a car, it changes the sound.

Thoughts?

Morel. Only because you heard them in an actual car environment, rather than a very specific, optimum enclosure in a store (The 165VB you mentioned). Chances are they won't the same in the vehicle. I know that can be argued, but just my $.02
