while mounting the sub back into the box my retarded friend helping me mount bumps me and the drill slips

but hope is not lost, the tear is not very big and is very close to the outside (non cone side) and is maybe a centimeter long.

its an re xxx with rubatek foam surround (dunno if that helps)

i was thinking something along the lines of a silicone adhesive that when dris forms a good bond but is not rock solid, so that it can move and bend with the sub..

ya i knwo this sucks ***

I have used silicone to seal many a wayward screw hole.

not adhesive, just silicone caulking, like you use in a bathroom shower, so it sets but is still flexible.
