FM Radio and PowerCable

Everything seems to be working fine except at low volumes thru the FM Radio i get a static. The only thing i can think of is that my radio antenna wire runs right next to my amp power wire for a few inches. Can this be the case.

Nope. You might be picking up noise from the engine ignition, but never from the power wire.

I agree with Maylar. You can get antenna filters, I think, that might be able to help you. Does it do it on every station, or just a few?

its funny because this happens only around college. Once i am away from the campus it goes away. I m not going to worry about it for now.

I guess i spoke to soon. THe hiss static came back and now its in my cd audio music. I will try to reground the amp wire tom morning.

I went ahead and called sounddomain.com and they said that they would refund me the cost of the previous one once they recieve and i should go ahead and order another one. I ordered another one hopefully it arrives by the end of this week maybe. Its really annoying i still get static on the radio and cd audio now mainly from the tweaters. I will probably ship out the old one once i now when i will be recieveing the other newer unit.

Does anyone have any ideas or is everyone dead sure its the amps fault. Like i said b4 this problem is unusual that it happens and goes or atleast i cant find a pattern to it.
