Seriously kid, you need to show respect to get respect. You were pushing that cops buttons from the start. It's not always a matter of right and wrong. That cop gave you a chance and you blew it. How much has this cost you by the way? You did get bailed out, correct? You have a previous sound ordinance ticket too? How much will you have to spend before you learn that you turn your **** down when you see a cop?

I was just at a music fest in Georgia last weekend. It took the cops two nights of raging music to find us, and we turned it down until they left and then turned it back up. No one got arrested, and everyone had a good time!

Here in IL I learned that if you turn it down when you see a cop, 90% chance they will leave you alone. Sometimes its hard to notice them though lol. You know what ticks me off though, is you got all these loud harley's and POS pick up trucks that shake your windows but don't really get anywhere (lol most of the harleys dont get anywhere either haha), making all that noise and its ok.

On a side note, a buddy of mine overseas told me in his country there is a sound ordnance and you can play your stereo as loud as you want from 8am to 8pm. Wow, be right next to cop in that timeframe and they cant do **** lol.

after watching the video I understand. Im all for someone standing up for rights and we know that they are dwindling away but your right to play excessively loud music in a residential area, come on. Take that motivation and apply to a cause that is relevant, we ride around banging loud systems everyday and we know if we see that metallic strip going down the side of a car we hit the mute button for a few seconds, simple and it works no infringement of our rights in any way.

I agree loud music can be a problem. However, most state's loud car audio statutes place no restrictions on place, time, or loud levels - of course its like that to net more $$$ and leads to infringement of rights (even though some idiots on here don't want to believe we have any)

lets be honest when we get pulled over for a noise violation its not because we are rocking some ac delco 6x9s in the rear deck its because we have something excessive, and i have had loud stereos for 15 years and have had my share of noise violations and every one was valid as can be. There are cops out there that are pricks but most of them are just doing their job, and you are making harder. If you really want to make difference then find a worthy cause not one that will get you laughed out of the court room, there are plenty of worthy ones out there.
