Florida Supreme Court strikes down loud car stereo law

Excellent.You're still a douche.
This.

They will just rewrite the laws to make them fit the ruling. The laws are needed, I was in a gas station the other day, a kid pulls up in his mustang and came in with his stereo still cranked out in the parking lot. He was in there for over 10 minutes. ********* like that and the ones that leave it cranked in residential areas(hint op) are the reasons these laws are around.

x2 They still need some sort of law in place. Not as strict as they currently are, but I sure don't want a bunch of dbags being able to play their POS systems full tilt anytime/anywhere....

It's not the strictness that bothers me as much as the vagueness and predisposition to ticket car stereos. I can roll through an industrial area with all kinds of noise with my stereo up and get a ticket, but the officer would have to yell over the outside ambient noise to tell me.

But I'm not sure what people expect though when they come on here and ask "how do I get heard 4 blocks away?", "I wantz da groundpoundz". Duh it's going to get attention and make people mad.

It's like everything else a little common sense and common courtesy would go a long way, but as the op so clearly showed in his first thread both are severely lacking in todays society.

O wow, didn't know there was a fellow member in the same town. Haha
What do you mean by the username...???
Yup, there's a few. I noticed a member with Sherman in there sig, too. A few Decatur guys too.

And you're over 2,000 posts, foo! Lol, your username is in italics now.

The court ruled the statute is not unconstitutionally vague. Georgia's supreme court also ruled the same.

I also totally agree with your last sentence. Contempt of cop arrests are very unprofessional and bad for society.
