DIY! It ain't hard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
i usually do everything myself but after seeing some pics of horrible carpet jobs i just know that i will fall into the same category, lol. im just not good with that kind of stuff and dont want to risk it. if i cant find anyone to do it for me i'll probably try it, mess it up, and then take it to a shop

on partsexpress.com, which carpet do you guys get (colorwise) and do you get the automotive carpet or the latex-backed one (those are their 2 choices). also how many yards should i be ordering to have enough plus a little extra just to be safe (box dimensions are ~ 36"x22"x18"

Partsexpress also has a non backed carpet. That is the stuff you want. Its called cabinet carpet on their site and runs 3.90 a yard. Its very good stuff.

The color is up to you. They have medium gray, charcaol, and black. The medium gray is the lightest color and black being the darkest. The charcoal is basically a mix of the two, with little specs of each (medium gray and black) in it.

Id go with 4 yards, just to play it safe, but 3 would probably be sufficient.
